Day 4 of the drawing challenge 😊 Today I’ve been looking at stretching the limits on facial expressions. I’m also trying to use and create different characters to help with better character development. Drawing all these characters is giving me lots of inspiration 😊 Who knows, one day they may show up again in an animation, but they’ll need just a little more character development before that stage. 😊

Day 3 of the drawing challenge! 😁 Today I’ve been practising different expressions and how far I can push the limits on different models and characters. I’m really happy of how this face turned out. I was going for a surprised face 😊 In the process of creating this, I’ve tried to draw different outfits apart from a basic t- shirt to help with a better character development. 😁 Creating different outfits and costumes is another thing I’d like to look into this year. 😊

Day 2 of the drawing challenge 😊 Today I really wanted to focus on the colouring of the line work in my drawings. I find it hard to use different outlines for my drawings as I’m so used to working with one colour. This isn’t the best but it’s a step in the right direction.  😊

Day 1 of the drawing challenge. 😊 Today I wanted to try out different brushes and test out the different effects they had. I’m really surprised with the results, it turned out better than I thought. It’s tricky trying to mix digital technology with traditional art skills. But, with a little bit of practise, I’m sure that it’ll just get easier.

The inspiration behind this was the prompt: First day of school. That feeling of being so rushed that no matter how much you prepared the night before it all seems to go so wrong. 😂
